Chelsea Milburn

I’m a strategic communications leader with 10+ years of diverse communications experience creating and editing a variety of communications materials in the federal, energy, nonprofit, and entertainment industries. My graduate degree in Strategic Communications solidified my expertise in communications planning, message crafting, marketing campaign management, campaign evaluation, and influence. I approach communications strategy and project management through a human lens. Who is the message or project deliverable for? What is the goal? How can we best achieve that goal, maintain clear and effective communication between team members and clients as applicable, and create a product the team feels pride in?

 I’m a firm believer that relationships are the building block of success and leverage emotional intelligence to foster and maintain connections with leaders, teammates, employees, and clients.  As a passionate and highly organized problem solver, I thrive when bringing people and ideas together to overcome obstacles and cultivate team success. I have a demonstrated ability to expertly manage creative projects, train and supervise employees, drive content engagement, and adapt to emergent issues. I’m eager to bring my people-focused approach and breadth of communications and project management experience to my next adventure.
